OJW Audio is a freelance sound engineer and operator based in Hampshire, with over 8 years of experience providing sound for plays, musicals, concerts and dance productions.

I work directly with directors, production teams and companies to get the sound right for the venue you're actually performing in. Every room behaves differently, and what works on paper doesn't always work with an audience in the seats.
Every job is planned in advance, and I attend rehearsals before the show to make sure everything runs smoothly. If something changes on the night, I adapt quickly — without it affecting the show.
Whether it's a one-off concert or a season running for weeks, every production gets the same care and attention.

Gear serves the show, not the other way round. I bring what the room and the script actually need — nothing padded out.
Discretion on stage
Done right, nobody notices the sound — they just notice the show. That's the actual goal.
